The Field
South Acres Fields – The Dog Barn Field is a located close to the West End of Darlington on Staindrop Road and is perfectly located for Mowden, Peircebridge and Low Coniscliffe.The field offers exclusive use of our newest purpose-built dog walking field which is great for all types of dogs and especially those that are nervous or reactive and need their own space. The field benefits from 6-foot-high fencing, access to fresh water, and plenty of car parking. The field is surrounded by mature hedgerows and enjoys the beauty of the open countryside. It is also accessible on foot using public footpaths from Mowden.
Directions
From Darlington:
- Follow the B6279 (Staindrop Road) signposted Staindrop.
- Pass underneath the A1 and the entrance will be directly on your right.
- Park in front of the Day Care buildings and walk over the bridge to access the field.
From Peircebridge/ Walworth:
- Travel towards Darlington on the B6279 (Staindrop Road).
- The entrance to the site will be directly on your left before you pass underneath the A1.
- Park in front of the Day Care buildings and walk over the bridge to access the field.
