How do I book a field?
All sessions are booked online. Choose your location and field, select an available time and complete your booking. You’ll receive a confirmation email with your booking details.
Will I have the field to myself?
Yes. Your chosen field is exclusively yours for your booked session. There will be no other customers or dogs sharing the field unless you invite family or friends to join you.
Can I bring family or friends?
Yes. You’re welcome to bring others with you. The person who made the booking remains responsible for the session and for ensuring everyone follows our Field Rules.
Can I change my booking?
Yes. You can move your booking up to 24 hours before your session using the link in your confirmation email.
Bookings cannot be changed within 24 hours.
Can I cancel my booking?
We do not allow cancellations or provide refunds. You can move your booking up to 24 hours before your session.
Can I give my booking to someone else?
No. Bookings are personal to the person who made them and cannot be transferred or assigned to another person.
What happens if I’m late?
You can use the remaining time, but your session must still finish at the original booked time so the next customer can start on time.
How early should I arrive?
Please arrive no more than 5 minutes before your session and remain in your vehicle until the previous customers have safely secured their dogs.
This is particularly important for nervous or reactive dogs.
When do I need to leave?
Please allow enough time to get your dog safely back into your vehicle before your booked session ends.
Dogs & Our Fields
Are the fields secure?
Our fields are enclosed with specialist dog fencing. Always check that the gate is fully closed and the field is suitable and secure for your dog before letting them off lead.
If you notice damage that could allow a dog to escape, keep your dog on lead and contact us immediately.
How high is the fencing?
Our secure fields generally have 6-foot specialist dog fencing. Please check your chosen field page if fencing is particularly important for your dog.
Can nervous or reactive dogs use South Acres Fields?
Absolutely. Having your own private space away from unfamiliar dogs is one of the main reasons customers choose South Acres.
Please remain in your vehicle until the previous customer’s dog has been safely secured before getting your dog out.
How many dogs can I bring?
Most bookings include up to three dogs, with additional dogs charged separately where applicable.
The maximum is generally 7 dogs per booking, unless otherwise stated. Available options will be shown when booking.
Can puppies use the fields?
Yes, provided they are appropriately vaccinated and ready to exercise outdoors. Please check with your vet if you’re unsure.
Can dogs subject to legal restrictions use the fields?
Yes, provided the dog is managed in accordance with all current legal requirements throughout the visit.
What if my dog is unwell?
Dogs showing signs of illness must not visit our fields. Please wait at least 7 days after symptoms have completely stopped before returning.
Is there dog enrichment equipment?
Some fields include features such as tunnels, jumps, climbing areas, long grass and sand pits. Each location is different, so check your chosen field page before booking.
What if my dog digs a hole?
Please discourage excessive digging and fill any holes where possible. Let us know about holes or damage that could present a hazard.
During Your Visit
Is there shelter?
Shelters are available at many of our fields. Please check your chosen field page if this is important to you.

Fresh water is available at many locations. Check your chosen field page and bring your own drinking water if you’re unsure.
Do I need to bring a water bowl?
We recommend bringing your own dog bowl.
Do I need to bring poo bags?
Yes please. Bring biodegradable poo bags, pick up after your dog and use the designated poo bins.
What if I find poo someone else has missed?
If you spot one that’s been missed, we’d really appreciate you picking it up if you can — hopefully someone will do the same if you ever accidentally miss one!
Please tell us if you find an excessive amount so we can identify and take action against repeat offenders.
Can I exercise my dog outside the field?
No. Dogs must remain on lead outside the secure field and should not be exercised elsewhere on the site.
Can I bring children?
Yes. Children must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times and must not climb on gates, fences or dog equipment.
Can I smoke or vape?
Smoking and vaping are not permitted within our secure fields.
What happens if the weather is bad?
Our fields are outdoor spaces and can become wet, muddy, slippery or frozen. Please dress appropriately and wear suitable footwear.
Occasionally, we may need to close a field due to severe weather, maintenance or safety concerns. If we cancel your booking because the field is unavailable, we’ll offer an appropriate reschedule, credit or refund.
Professional dog walkers & trainers
I’m a professional dog walker or trainer. Can I use South Acres Fields?

If you intend to use a field for any professional or commercial purpose, you must contact us and receive approval before booking. Please do not make a standard customer booking for professional use without prior approval.
