The Fields
South Acres Fields is beautifully positioned between Castle Eden and Hesleden, offering exclusive use of two premium dog walking fields. Perfect for all dogs, especially those that are nervous or reactive, both fields feature secure 6-foot fencing, field shelters, fresh water, and private parking.
Surrounded by mature hedgerows and open countryside, the fields provide a peaceful, secure setting where dogs can exercise, explore, and play freely while owners enjoy the stunning rural and coastal views. A private countryside retreat designed for safe, stress-free walks or productive training sessions.
The Tees Field
Our Tees Field is a spacious and secure 5-acre dog walking field on our Durham Coast site, offering plenty of room for dogs to run, play and explore in a safe countryside setting. Designed with both exercise, training and enrichment in mind, the field features a large sandpit, dog jumps and agility equipment to keep dogs active, engaged and having fun.
For owners, there is comfortable seating and a field shelter, providing a relaxing space to enjoy your visit whatever the weather. Whether you’re training, exercising an energetic dog or simply enjoying quality off-lead time together, The Tees Field offers the perfect balance of freedom, fun and comfort.

The Wear Field
Our Wear Field is a spacious and secure 5-acre dog walking field on our Durham Coast site, offering a simple, distraction-free environment for dogs and their owners to enjoy. Kept clean, open and uncluttered, the field provides plenty of space for long walks, off-lead exercise and focused training without the distractions of play equipment or obstacles.
Ideal for dogs that benefit from a calm environment, owners working on recall or obedience training, and those who simply want to enjoy a peaceful walk together, The Wear Field offers five acres of uninterrupted space to explore at your own pace.
With secure parking and a quiet rural setting, it’s the perfect choice for anyone looking for a straightforward, spacious field dedicated entirely to exercise, training and quality time with their dog.

From the A19/ Castle Eden:
- Travel through Castle Eden and turn left on to the B1281 signposted Hesleden and Blackhall Rocks.
- After around a mile turn right on to Mickle Hill Road signosted Hesleden.
- After around 100m the entrance to the site will be on your left.
From the Coast/ Blackhall Rocks:
- Turn on to the B1281 signposted Castle Eden.
- After around a mile turn left on to Mickle Hill Road signposted Hesleden.
- After around 100m the entrance to the site will be on your left.
