The Fields
South Acres Fields is perfectly located less than a mile from the centre of Easingwold and offers exclusive use of two purpose-built dog walking fields which are great for all types of dogs and especially those that are nervous or reactive. Both fields benefit from 6-foot-high fencing, field shelters, access to fresh water and secure car parking. The fields are surrounded by mature hedgerows and enjoy the beauty of the open countryside and views towards Crayke Castle.
Castle View (8 acres)
Our Castle View field is a spacious secure dog walking field with stunning panoramic views across the North Yorkshire countryside towards Crayke Castle. Designed for exercise, exploration and freedom, the large open field provides plenty of space for dogs of all sizes to run, play and sniff to their heart’s content.
With secure parking and a peaceful rural setting, Castle View is perfect for energetic dogs, multi-dog households and owners looking to enjoy a relaxing walk surrounded by beautiful scenery.
Available to book in 50-minute slots at £15 per session.
Castle Grounds (2.5 acres)
Our Castle Grounds field is a smaller, purpose-designed secure space ideal for recall training, puppy training, confidence building and focused exercise sessions. With training equipment and a more compact layout, it’s perfect for working on skills without the distractions of a larger field.
Whether you’re introducing a young puppy to training, practising obedience, or refining recall, this field provides a safe and controlled environment for productive sessions.
Available to book in 25 minute slots at £7.50 per session and 50-minute slots at £11 per session.
From the A19/ Easingwold:
- Travel South West through Easingwold and bear left on to Stillington Road signposted Stillington
- Pass Easingwold Town Footbal club on the left and after around 400m take the left turn on to Ladycarr Lane
- Travel around 200m along Ladycarr Lane and the entrance to the site wll be on your right (opposite the allotments).
From Stillington:
- Travel East along West Lane which becomes Stillington Road.
- Pass Easingwold Gold Club on your left and after around 400m take the right turn on to Ladycarr Lane.
- Travel around 200m along Ladycarr Lane and the entrance to the site wll be on your right (opposite the allotments).
